The Mabruk Early Production Facility metering project involved the engineering, procurement and integration of a measurement system for a new oil-production facility.

Codes and standards are defined according to the type of facility, process service, project location, client specifications, regulatory framework and contractual scope.

For oil and gas projects, applicable references may include publications issued through the American Petroleum Institute standards programme.

Project quality-management requirements may also reference the ISO 9000 family of quality-management standards, while occupational health and safety requirements may refer to ISO 45001.
