RIDA T.S. provides operations and maintenance support for industrial facilities in Libya, with services covering routine maintenance, fault investigation, equipment overhaul, shutdown work and technical support to plant teams.
Our scope is defined around the client’s equipment, operating procedures, maintenance priorities and site requirements. RIDA T.S. can combine field work with asset integrity and reliability assessments, control-system support and the sourcing of replacement components.

Maintenance Execution
RIDA T.S. supports preventive and corrective maintenance across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control systems. Work starts with the approved equipment scope and a review of operating information, maintenance records, reported faults and site constraints.
Depending on the facility, activities may include:
- Equipment inspection and scheduled servicing
- Mechanical and piping repairs
- Pump and rotating-equipment intervention
- Electrical and instrument checks
- Instrument calibration and loop testing

Findings and completed work are recorded so that the client can track equipment condition, outstanding defects and follow-up actions. Where a fault requires a design change or specialist assessment, RIDA T.S. can coordinate the work with its engineering and consultancy team.
Rotating Equipment and Plant Systems
Maintenance of pumps, compressors and associated systems is planned according to equipment condition, manufacturer documentation, service requirements and the agreed intervention scope.
RIDA T.S. supports inspection, disassembly, fault assessment, repair or replacement coordination, reassembly and checks before the equipment returns to service. Supporting work may involve valves, piping, instrumentation, electrical connections and control interfaces.
For instruments and plant control equipment, maintenance activities can be coordinated with RIDA T.S.’s automation, SCADA and control systems services. This helps address faults that involve both field equipment and the signals or logic used to operate it.
Shutdowns and Turnaround Support
Planned shutdowns require a defined work scope, material readiness and coordination between operations, maintenance, inspection and contractors.
RIDA T.S. supports work-package preparation, resource and equipment planning, isolation requirements, site execution, inspection, testing and reinstatement. Outstanding findings are documented for the client’s review before start-up.
Its Gas-Oil Separation Plant cleaning and inspection project at the Mabrouk Oil Field included maintenance and turnaround activities on two processing trains, with vessel cleaning, inspection and integrity-related work. The reference demonstrates a field intervention linked to the preparation of an existing facility for operational resumption.
Replacement equipment and materials required for maintenance or shutdown work can be coordinated through RIDA T.S.’s procurement and supply chain services.
Maintenance Planning and CMMS Data
Maintenance records are useful when they identify the equipment affected, the fault observed, the work performed and any remaining action.
RIDA T.S. can support the organization of asset registers, preventive-maintenance tasks, work orders, failure records and spare-parts information within the client’s established processes. Where a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) is used, the scope of data review or system support is agreed for the project.
For oil and gas facilities, ISO 14224 provides a reference for structuring equipment reliability and maintenance data. Its application to a specific contract depends on the client’s data requirements and approved procedures.
Maintenance history and recurring faults can also inform inspection priorities, equipment modifications and subsequent maintenance plans.
Site Support and Handover
O&M support may be provided for a defined intervention, a shutdown or an agreed period of support to the client’s plant team. The delivery arrangement identifies responsibilities, supervision, reporting, site procedures and the limits of the assigned scope.
After an intervention, handover information may include work orders, inspection findings, test results, replaced components, open items and recommendations. Where the scope includes new or modified equipment, technical training and operator familiarization can be arranged around the systems delivered.
RIDA T.S.’s fuel gas metering and control systems project at Azzawiya Refinery also illustrates work during a service overhaul, including flowmeter tie-ins, piping spools, electrical and instrumentation installation, and control-system programming. It is presented here as an example of multidisciplinary work on an existing facility, rather than as a long-term O&M contract.
