At Rida Company, we believe our employees are our greatest asset. In line with this commitment, we recently hosted a Primavera software training at our Tripoli premises. All employees enthusiastically participated and were awarded certifications by the Primavera instructor upon successful completion of the program. This was a fantastic opportunity for our teams to develop new technical skills and stay ahead in the industry.
We also delivered a dedicated Projects Procurement training program to help implement PMI standards across our teams, further strengthening our project management capabilities.
Overview:
Acquiring the right goods and services is critical to the success of any project. A well-considered make-lease-buy decision can have a significant impact on a project’s outcomes and overall benefits. This comprehensive training covered best practices for procuring outside services and products — from the initial decision to buy through to final contract closeout. Participants learned how to successfully execute four key project management processes: procurement planning, source selection, contract administration, and contract closeout.
The program also explored how to formulate make-lease-buy decisions, develop effective procurement management plans, and leverage outsourcing and partnerships for maximum benefit. Participants were also given the opportunity to engage in group discussions and case studies, allowing them to apply their newly acquired knowledge in a practical setting. Real-world lessons and best practices from procurement theory and experience were shared throughout, ensuring that all participants left with both a theoretical foundation and practical tools they could immediately apply in their roles.
