As we celebrate our third year of freedom, we proudly raise Libya’s independence flag high, filled with renewed hope for continued progress and prosperity across our beloved nation.
February 17th marked far more than a revolution—it was a transformative moment that rekindled our collective hopes for a brighter, more prosperous future. After 42 long years under a brutal and oppressive regime that devastated our country and caused immeasurable suffering to our people, we discovered that the human spirit’s resilience and determination far surpass any form of tyranny or oppression.
Libya is united as one heart and one soul, spanning from the eastern Mediterranean shores to the western deserts and from the northern coast to the southern regions. Arab and Amazigh alike, we stand together as brothers and sisters, bound by shared heritage and common dreams. Regardless of our political differences or geographical origins, we remain deeply connected by blood, shared history, and unwavering purpose—ready to support and uplift one another through every challenge that lies ahead.
Together, we build a stronger Libya. We are Libyan.
