Project Scope:

RIDA T.S. undertook a comprehensive inspection and major overhauling of gas turbines and generators at the Western Mountain Power Plant (WMPP) for General Electricity Company (GECOL). The project required specialized expertise in turbine maintenance, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

This project involved:

• Major inspection and overhauling of gas turbines and
• Replacement of critical components, following industry-approved
• Balance of Plant (BOP) maintenance, including a full inspection and
• Project duration: 4 months, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum

Impact:

By executing a highly technical overhaul, RIDA T.S. played a key role in enhancing the reliability and efficiency of the power plant, contributing to GECOL’s mission of ensuring stable power generation across Libya.
